What is TNR?

TNR stands for Trap-Neuter-Return.

It is the process of trapping feral cats, taking them to the vet to be sterilized, vaccinated, and ear tipped (for easy recognition), and the next day, the cats are returned to their colony in which they came from.

TNR is the ONLY way of humanely managing populations as well as preventing more cats from coming into the colony.

Why is TNR Important?

1. It stops the breeding cycle and decreases the population over time

2. Eliminates unwanted behaviors such as fighting, yowling, and

spraying

3. The above keeps neighbors happy

4. Prevents millions of unwanted litters of kittens which also prevents deaths at shelters due to overpopulation.

5. Relieves the constant stress of mating and pregnancy

6. Prevents a lifetime of suffering due to illnesses and injuries that often go without medical attention

6. Improves and protects cats lives!
